REACHING NORTH AMERICA FOR CHRIST
BY LAURA HARPER

THROUGH THE NORTH AMERICAN MISSION EMPHASIS, WE CAN LEARN ABOUT, PRAY FOR, AND SUPPORT MISSIONS.  THE WEEK OF PRAYER FOR NORTH AMERICAN MISSIONS (MARCH 6-13) HELPS CHURCH MEMEBERS UNDERSTAND WHAT MISSSIONARIES IN THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AND THEIR TERRITORIES DO AND HOW TO PRAY FOR THEM.  THE TASK OF REACHING NORTH AMERICA FOR CHRIST IS HUGE, BUT AS GOD USES US, WE CAN SEE RESULTS.  LET’S TRUST HIM AND PRAISE HIM FOR THE RESULTS.

ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9TH A NORTH AMERICAN MISSION STUDY WILL BE PRESENTED AT NOON IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL FOLLOWING OUR MEAL.  THE ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING GIVES OUR CHURCH A CHANCE TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF MORE THAN 5,600 MISSIONARIES AS THEY PLANT CHURCHES, REACH OUT TO COLLEGE STUDENTS, AND SO MUCH MORE.

WOMEN ON MISSION WILL MEET MONDAY, MARCH 14TH AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE CHURCH.  ALL OUR LADIES ARE INVITED TO JOIN US FOR STUDY, PRAYER, AND FELLOWSHIP.

Hello Church Family,

Oh my, do I feel overwhelmed with so much coming to an end and new things beginning.  Our children’s ministry is in the middle of planning Celebrations for
Upward, the Easter Eggstravaganza, new concepts with Kids Worship, new lesson plans for kids 2:42, Children’s Musical, weekly themes with AWANA, VBS, kids camp and so much more!  Let me tell you it is very easy to look at all the plates spinning and praying that some don’t get dropped.

I’m sure many of you feel the same way in your day to day struggles and busyness.  It’s so easy to look at all the things we have in front of us and to worry or be anxious that things won’t happen the way we have it planned out.  Whether it be your job, friendships, children, marriage, money, sickness or even your daily walk with the Lord.  The bible tells us in Matthew 6:34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow”.  God has a perfect plan in place for all of us.  We can do our very best to try to control our future, but if WE try to take control, then we aren’t truly in His will.  If we trust in Him and His promise in Proverbs to acknowledge Him and he will direct our path then we should have no worries or anxieties for the future.

Start with prayer and opening your bible.  We should also seek good Christian counsel and build strong Christian relationships that can help to hold us accountable. I and my teams can’t do all the things I have listed above and you can’t conquer all your struggles and busyness without surrendering it all to God.  Allowing Him to
handle the worries and to do what is perfect for His amazing plan!

Thank you for the opportunity to love on your children.

God Bless,
April Sharp
