We are so glad you are interested in more about our church! Oakhill Baptist is a community church that seeks to glorify the Lord as we serve Him and serve His people. Our mission is to BEHOLD the Lord through weekly worship, BELONG as we build community with fellow believers, BECOME disciples of Christ, and go BEYOND ourselves through missions and evangelism. Below you will find helpful information about our church as you make plans to visit soon!
Typically a worship service is a little over an hour. We will worship the Lord with either traditional or contemporary songs depending on which service you choose. We always have a powerful, challenging, and encouraging message based on God’s Word.
Feel free to come as you are! We encourage comfortable casual dress. On any given Sunday you may see people in dress clothes (like dresses and ties) and in casual clothes (like jeans and t-shirts).
If you are a guest visiting with us feel free to utilize our guest parking. It is located just to the right of the main Oak Hill Rd. entrance. Several spots have been set aside just for our honored guests every Sunday.
Typically you would enter through Entrance A (it is clearly marked on the exterior of the building). This is the main worship entrance. Please locate one of our many greeters to find the worship center. They are there to assist in making your experience great; feel free to ask them anything regarding our ministry or facility. We also encourage you to grab a cup of coffee at our free coffee bar. There are a couple different blends to choose from. If you’re checking in kids for any of our children’s classes or programs on Sunday, you may want to use Entrance B. Just go up the stairs and a greeter will help you get your children checked-in.
We love kids and students! We offer childcare during the worship services from birth through age 3. We also have classes and programs for children and students. For specific times visit our kids page and our student page. For children 5th grade and under please check them in at our Kids Welcome Center located at the top of the stairs just through Entrance B. The check-in process is quick and easy, and you’re given a secure code where only you can pick them up. In addition, all teachers and children’s volunteers undergo a background check before they’re allowed to serve with children.
