Paul Willett
Discipleship and Missions Pastor
Pastor Paul Willett was born in Henderson, Kentucky, and graduated from Murphysboro High School in Southern Illinois. He attended John A. Logan College, where he met his wife, Amy Willett. They have been happily married for 30 years. Paul has received theological education from Boyce College at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as from Spurgeon College at Midwest Baptist Theological Seminary. He is set to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Spurgeon College in May 2025 and plans to pursue certification in Biblical Counseling in the fall. Before taking on his current role, Paul served as an elder overseeing Life Groups at Oakhill Baptist Church. As he felt God's affirmation of his calling, he transitioned into full-time vocational ministry as the Pastor of Discipleship and Missions. Paul has a deep passion for missions both locally and globally, discipleship, and he genuinely desires for people to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In his spare time, Paul enjoys fishing, spending time in coffee shops, visiting the many food trucks in Evansville, and traveling with his wife.
